They look great on the front verandah
I needed a solution to keep the blazing Queensland sun off our new car parked in an existing carport. Unfortunately the entrance to the carport captured the afternoon sun perfectly and the car would suffer - especially in the summer. I looked at range of solutions and the Ozrite outdoor blind was the most practical solution at a reasonable price. The quality is great and DIY installation isn't that difficult. Highly recommended.

rank & Clip uses stainless-steel clips while the fabric edges remain open. HD Channel covers the side gaps but does not retain the fabric. Ziplock locks the fabric edges inside slotted tracks, creating the strongest and most enclosed system.
Ziplock is the strongest option, rated up to 70 km/h when correctly installed and secured.
Crank & Clip and HD Channel are rated up to 50 km/h. All systems can reduce passing rain, but outdoor blinds do not create a waterproof room.
Privacy 99% fabric is the best choice, with only 1% openness to greatly reduce visibility through the blind. Sunscreen 95% fabric provides more outward visibility.
Side channels can reduce edge gaps, but privacy primarily depends on the fabric selected. Privacy also varies with lighting and is not complete blackout.
Ziplock provides the strongest insect protection because the fabric edges remain retained inside the side tracks.
Results also depend on sealing around the blind and surrounding structure.
